What you need to know about the Kyan Trading Competition.

Updated over a week ago

Welcome to the Kyan Trading Competition! This is your chance to explore the next generation of onchain derivatives, test your strategies, and earn rewards for helping shape Kyan’s future.

Running from November 17 at 2:00 pm UTC to December 14 at 11:59 pm UTC, this competition marks a major milestone on our road to mainnet. Whether you’re an experienced trader or new to Kyan, this event is designed to give you hands-on experience with our platform and reward your performance and participation.

Timeline

The competition runs in two stages:

  • Stage 1: November 17 → November 30

  • Stage 2: December 1 → December 14

Each participant receives testnet funds to trade options, perps, and multi-leg strategies on Arbitrum Sepolia, with no real money involved.

How to Get Testnet Tokens?

The tokens will be distributed automatically. All you need to do is connect your wallet to Kyan.

Every participant receives:

  • 250,000 Kyan USDC in Stage 1

  • 250,000 Kyan USDC in Stage 2

To be able to trade on Kyan, you'll need to connect to Arbitrum Sepolia.

Rewards

Each stage of the competition comes with a separate set of rewards.

Trading Competition: Stage 1

The first stage of Kyan’s trading competition will serve as our public user behavior audit. This is our chance to take our community with us for a ride, and your chance to help us build Kyan into something great. It’s only fair that there’s a little extra up for grabs.

  • 1,200,000 Krystals

  • Kyan VIP Program Access

  • Super-secret extra rewards to be announced

Trading Competition: Stage 2

  • Bigger & better super-secret rewards to be announced

  • 800,000 Krystals

  • 5× Kyan VIP Program Access

Krystals (Kyan’s community reward points) will be distributed to everyone based on various criteria.

Purpose of the Competition

The Kyan Trading Competition is a stress test for our system and a collaborative event to refine the platform ahead of mainnet launch.

Through the competition, we aim to:

  • Test performance and reliability under real trading conditions

  • Improve market maker integrations

  • Identify and fix bugs

  • Study user behavior to make Kyan more intuitive and efficient

Your participation directly helps us fine-tune Kyan before its mainnet debut.
