Signature Timed Out / Time Desync Issue

Learn what to do if you see the "Signature timed out" error.

If you receive a message like “Signature timed out”, your local device time may be out of sync with Coordinated Universal Time (UTC). Kyan requires accurate device time to properly validate signatures.

Here's how to fix it:


Step 1: Enable Time Synchronization

Enable automatic time synchronization on your device:

  • Mac: System Settings → General → Date & Time → Turn on Set time automatically

  • Windows: Settings → Time & Language → Date & Time → Enable Set time automatically

  • Mobile (iOS/Android): Settings → Date & Time → Enable Set Automatically


Step 2: Clear the Cache.
